Revital (Revi for short) is The Lemon Tree’s head pastry chef and the visionary behind The Lemon Tree Bakery. Revi loves chocolate making and used to dream of one day opening a shop that sold only homemade chocolates and pastries. When you make it yourself, you can use the best ingredients and anyone who has ever experienced the smell, of good cream and butter sizzling in a pot of deep-dark caramel, knows what we’re talking about. In 2009, Revi fulfilled her dream of opening that shop, and thus, The Lemon Tree Bakery was established.
Jocelyn is Revi’s business partner. Jocelyn loves to blend exotic spices and flavors in every dish she prepares. Her cooking has been heavily influenced by her Moroccan mother-in-law. At the shop, Jocelyn loves the feel of being surrounded by exquisite pastries and enjoys hearing the squeals of delight from customers saying such things as “Oh my God!” or “I LOVE these!”, but most rewarding of all is watching The Lemon Tree customers reconnect with their favorite treats from the past.
Wanda joined our family immediately following the opening of The Lemon Tree Bakery, and loves meeting and greeting our customers. Wanda’s smile is probably one of the reasons people come back time and again to visit us (of course besides the pastries offered at our bakery).
Krystal came to us as a green co-op student while studying at St. Joe’s HS. Very quickly, she made herself an indispensable part of our family. Krystal bakes cookies and pies here at The Lemon Tree Bakery. We are fortunate to have Krystal continue with us while she completes her culinary training at Georgian College.
